Raising Academic Performance (RAP)

A structured after-school program that provides academic enrichment for at-risk youth to enhance their academic achievement and encourage development of life skills that will lead to becoming productive citizens of the community. Programs consist of tutoring; individual, group and family counseling; and peer advisory. The parent component provides workshops to enhance parenting skills, assists parents in developing positive interactions with their children, improve interpersonal relationship within the family, and helps empower parents to become active participants in their child's education.
