H1N1 For No One Day

    The "Germ Squad"

Myers Park High School students, nicknamed The Germ Squad, created a 3-minute "H1N1 For No One" video aimed at educating Charlotte Mecklenburg School students on how to reduce the spread of the H1N1 virus. The video was produced by CMS-TV and the Mecklenburg County Health Department.

As part of its ongoing education and prevention efforts, CMS held H1N1 For No One Day on Thursday, Oct. 22. All schools screened a hand-washing video on closed-circuit TV to encourage everyone to take proactive measures in protecting themselves from the virus.

Through the generosity of the Mecklenburg County Health Department, each elementary school received a copy of the "H1N1 For No One" video and all middle and high schools received a copy of the Health Department production,  "Last Clean Chance," an eight-minute science-fantasy thriller used to teach proper hand washing technique.
