Common Violations

 

The numbers refer to the section in the rules where the issue is addressed.

1. Sanitizer not used or not at required strength

2. Hot water supply and appropriate temperatures

3. Diaper Changing Method 

4. Hazardous Materials 
            storage 

*Note- a general guideline is if the product is labeled "Keep out   of reach of children" than it is probably considered a hazardous material and will need to be kept under lock and key. This does not include sanitizer and soap at handsinks 

5. Food storage 

*Note- thermometers are to be available and used to maintain proper food temperature, confirm that refrigerator thermometers are functioning properly and to regulate & maintain accurate water temperatures at sources. 

6. Proper handwashing and appropriate sinks for such

Be sure to check water temperatures on a regular basis.  Incorrect water temperature is a provisional item.

Dumpster

Only a 2 point item, but open dumpsters can lead to other problems...rats!
