Project ASSIST
 

Mecklenburg County Project ASSIST is a partnership of the American Cancer Society, the Department of Environment, Health, and Natural Resources, the National Cancer Institute,  Mecklenburg County Health Department, and voluntary organizations.

 

Project ASSIST

Project ASSIST stands for the American Stop Smoking Intervention Study. The purpose of Project ASSIST is to prevent deaths and health problems attributable to tobacco use. In North Carolina, Project ASSIST is focusing on helping adolescents, pregnant women, and tobacco users who want to quit.
