Kick Butts - Stop Smoking Campaign
Students from around Mecklenburg County will work to "kick butts" all day on March 28, demonstrating their passion for living tobacco-free. Students will gather from 10 a.m. - noon at South Mecklenburg, Butler, Olympic and West Charlotte High Schools to paint tobacco-free messages on special graffiti walls. Charlotte Bobcats player Matt Carroll will help out at Butler High School. After school, the students will gather at Lucky's Bike Shop, 1716 Camden Road to paint a graffiti wall with their tobacco-free messages.
Students from South Mecklenburg High School recently worked on original artwork that will be on display for the Kick Butts stop smoking campaign. The artwork from these talented young men and women will be displayed around Mecklenburg County on Kick Butts day March 28th.
