Nearly every county in North Carolina has a Healthy Carolinians partnership with guidance from the Governor's Task Force for Healthy Carolinians. The Task Force is responsible for setting health objectives, reviewing partnership activities, and certifying each partnership.

What We Do
As a certified partnership we are responsible for conducting a community health assessment every 4 years. This assessment gives us information on the health needs and priorities of the community.
In order to best address our priority health issues, we support existing community coalitions by developing action plans, promoting events, and providing opportunities for partnerships. For some new and emerging health priorities, we work to convene stakeholder agencies and community members to encourage a more collaborative approach to addressing the identified health issue.
See Partners and Initiatives page for more information on partner groups that we support and the new initiatives we are working on.
