All Bodies Like Exercise! (ABLE!) Program
Overview: Video exercise program for older adults and persons with limited mobility. ABLE includes a training program for exercise providers and television/video series for the public.

Mecklenburg Healthy Carolinians
Overview: A community collaboration of local groups, agencies, and individuals that assist those who work to improve health behaviors within Mecklenburg County. With guidance from the Governor's Task Force on Healthy Carolinians and support from the Mecklenburg County Health Department, we aim to increase the length and quality of life for all Mecklenburg County residents.

Tobacco Use Prevention
Overview: Coalition-based project designed to address tobacco use through advocacy, training and community education. Activities include advocacy and training, teacher & youth training, clean indoor air programming, provider training, general media education and advocacy, policy development, smoke-free dining promotion, and other activities.

Teen Tobacco Prevention and Cessation Initiative
Overview: Tobacco.Reality.Unfiltered. –Youth led tobacco advocacy initiative funded by the Health and Wellness Trust Fund. Activities for our initiative include creating school and community based "social-norm" campaigns, promoting smoke free teen hang-outs, offering training and mini-grant assistance to school and community groups, promoting science based tobacco prevention, and creating youth-led policy change. Youth are able to take an active role in making change in their community by leading activities that promote tobacco prevention and cessation in their environment. Youth are educated on media literacy, tobacco 101 and media advocacy. Activities and mini-grant funding decisions are maintained by the Teen Tobacco Prevention Advisory Board. Teen Tobacco Prevention Advisory Board nominations are accepted once each year.
