COMMUNITY SERVICES DIVISION
Provides for disabled adults, teens and children who are disabled and are eligible for Medicaid and in need of nursing home level care (intermediate and/or skilled level care); provides for persons diagnosed with AIDS and children who are HIV seropositive and/or have at least two conditions resulting from the HIV infections as defined by CDC, and; provides help to children under age 19 who are medically fragile and at-risk of being institutionalized.
The Refugee program assists persons with refugee status who are relocating to Mecklenburg County while the Tuberculosis program screens persons for TB and provides other related services.
