ArcGIS Explorer is a free, downloadable Geo-browser that gives you an easy way to explore, visualize, and share GIS information. The version 900 is a significant release advancing the capabilities of ArcGIS Explorer and simplifying its use by leveraging new Microsoft interface standards.
This session will cover the basics of downloading the application and learning how to use it but will also look at extending the environment through free add-ins from the ArcGIS Explorer Resources pages and utilizing the new free data sharing feature of ArcGIS Online. Extending your existing enterprise GIS has never been so easy. And for people who are new to GIS concepts, getting started with it has never been so quick. This class is "GIS for Everyone!"
