Members of the Charlotte Fire Department's swiftwater rescue team arrived home late Saturday evening, September 2nd, after a three-day deployment in eastern North Carolina.

The Team was activated Wednesday and sent to Kinston, where it joined up with a North Carolina Army National Guard unit from Williamston to form NC Task Force 3. Their mission was to support the fire departments of Duplin County as they dealt with flooding from Hurricane Ernesto.
