Fire and Life Safety Educators deliver Friendship Trays twice a month to Charlotte home bound citizens. In addition to delivering the meals citizens the educators hand out fire safety materials. Educators ask permission to enter the residence and confirm the smoke and carbon monoxide alarms are working properly.

Through a grant from FM Global , free carbon monoxide and smoke alarms are provided to residents in need of alarms.
