Effective July 01 2009, The installation of fire alarm systems (more than 5 devices), and fire sprinkler systems (more than 20 heads) will require the submittal of shop drawings prior to installation and approval of these systems. The shop drawings may be submitted to either the Fire Department's Plan Review Division located at 700 North Tryon Street, or to the Fire Department's Fire Prevention Bureau Office located at 441 Beaumont Avenue.
