For weekdays between 8:00am and 5:00pm, you may contact the Fire Prevention Bureau directly at 704-336-2101. If you feel that a life-safety hazard exists after hours that needs immediate attention, you may contact the Fire Department's Communication Division at 704-336-2441, and they will notify the on-call fire inspector.

 

For filing a fire code complaint with the Charlotte Fire Department after normal business hours, as well as weekends and holidays, you may complete this form and submit it electronically to the Fire Prevention Bureau for investigation. An inspector will follow-up with your complaint the following business day. Please be concise and specific with the complaint details.
