Public Information Officer

Captain Rob Brisley is the Public Information Officer (PIO) for the Charlotte Fire Department.
The PIO works with the Incident Commander and is responsible for helping the home or business owner affected by a fire or emergency.
All media questions and interviews are channeled to the PIO on the scene of an incident. This ensures that correct details will be released to the public. The PIO is available as a resource to answer questions about fire cause and damage reports.

The Charlotte Fire Department is often called on for community service needs. Charlotte area Fire Stations are available to participate in neighborhood programs and events.
