City-Certified MWBE Vendors [xls] (last updated: 11/06/09)
*** IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR VENDORS REGARDING MWBE CERTIFICATION *** As of July 1, 2009, the City has ceased the service of certifying firms as an MWBE - this function is now centralized through the State of NC in their State Wide Uniform Certification Program [pdf].
All previously City-certified MWBE firms must register with the State's SWUC Program to maintain thier minority or woman owned status before October 15, 2009.
If you are a current and active City-certified MWBE firm, and need assistance in transfering your certification into the SWUC Program, please contact Alban Burney with the City's Small Business Opportunity Program office at 704.336.4178.
For the time being, we will still continue to post the list of our MWBE vendors, which we reflect as having an active certification status.
