The City's Economic Development Office has launched a citywide initiative focused on retaining businesses and jobs locally.  We understand that the key to net job growth is a well-defined job retention strategy focused on key business sectors.

Program Objectives:

  • To gain a better understanding of local business needs and expectations
  • To better match local resources with specific needs of existing businesses
  • To identify companies at-risk of relocation and/or job loss
  • To identify opportunities to attract support businesses to Charlotte
  • To increase local job retention and growth

  • Financial Services
  • Information Technology
