- Business Equity Loan Program - A deferred loan program that provides necessary equity funds for eligible expansion and start-up projects, enabling businesses to qualify for bank financing.
- Business Investment Grant Program - Provides grants to companies for investing at least $1.5 million in new or expanded services or processes and adding 20 jobs or more.
- Business Expansion and Funding Corporation (SBA 504 Lender) [formerly Charlotte Certified Development Corporation] - Provides loans to small businesses for the expansion of small businesses by making capital available for new buildings, additions to existing structures, or the acquisition of equipment and machinery.
- Centralina Development Corporation (SBA 504 Lender) - Provides small to medium-sized businesses with financing resources for real estate and fixed assets through the SBA 504 loan program.
- Industrial Revenue Bonds - bonds used to help finance local manufacturing or industrial facilities.
- Small Business Enterprise (SBE) Loan Fund - a partnership with lenders and corporations that will provide short-term working capital and term loans to eligible existing small business enterprises (SBE).
- SBA Micro Loan Program - Micro loans up to $35,000 are available through this program administered by Self Help Credit Union statewide for the SBA.
- Brownfield Tax Incentive - owners of Brownfield properties are entitled to the partial City and County property tax exclusions.
- Business District Organization Program - provides up to $7,500 in matching funds per year to eligible business district organizations for eligible operating/administrative expenses.
- Facade Improvement Grant Program - 50% reimbursement up to $10,000 for renovation to a building's facade and/or to bring signage, landscaping or parking lots into conformance with current codes.
- Infrastructure Grant Program - provides $10,000 maximum grant to businesses for City required infrastructure improvements such as landscaping, sidewalks, curb & gutter and backflow prevention.
- Security Grant Program - provides 50% reimbursement up to $2,500 for the installation of eligible security improvements.
- Storm Water Economic Development Program - provides partial to full funding for eligible storm drainage infrastructure improvements required by new development.
