From I-85 or I-77
Follow to the Brookshire/Belk Freeway, then out to Independence Boulevard (US 74) eastbound. Once on the Independence Freeway, go past the Cricket Arena (old Charlotte Coliseum). Get off at the next right-hand exit onto Eastway Road/Wendover Road southbound (you will see a sign for the Mint Museum). Heading south on Wendover, go straight to the 5th traffic light (you will pass Home Depot, McDonald's and a shopping center). At the 5th light, make a right onto Randolph Road. Go down to the bottom of the hill. At that light, make a right onto Billingsley Road. The Department is located at 301 Billingsley Road, the second driveway on the left. The agency building is the large brick structure on the right. Parking is available in front of the building or at the Mecklenburg County Health Department next door.

From Uptown Charlotte
Take Randolph Road southbound (past Presbyterian Hospital) approximately 2.5 miles. After you pass the Mint Museum on your right, Billingsley Road will be the second traffic light. Make a left onto Billingsley and go to the second driveway on the left.
