Financial Services Division
Amy E. Johnson, Financial Services Director

Financial Services manages the Department of Social Services annual budget.  

Other responsibilities includes:

• Staff payroll
• Issuing monthly Work First checks to customers
• Issuing Good Friends funds
• Tracking and managing guardianship accounts for wards
• Fraud collections and savings
• Purchasing; accounts receivable and accounts payable
• Comprehensive state reimbursement report monthly

In addition, Financial Services is responsible for all Social Services contracts and financial actions that involve the Board of County Commissioners.

• Child Care services contract with Child Care Resources, Inc., (CCRI).  
• Crisis Intervention Program (CIP).  CIP provides financial assistance to households in a heating or cooling-related emergency.
