Business Corridor Revitalization Stragic Plan - Steering Committee

On July 24, 2006, City Council approved the outline and process for developing a Business Corridor Revitalization Strategic Plan. The process includes the establishment of a Steering Committee to be appointed by the City Manager that will provide input and direction to staff during the development of the plan. Please forward any suggestions that you may have for appointment to the Steering Committee to Tom Flynn by August 4.

National Night Out is Tuesday, August 1. Following are additional National Night Out locations that have been added since Council received the initial list on July 14.
- Lincoln Heights: Cookout and Information Booth at Custer Street and La Salle Street from 6:30 to 9:00 pm
- Smallwood Biddleville: Cookout and community gathering at 202 Walford from 6:30 to 8:00 pm
- Belmont: Community March beginning in the 1400 block of Kennon Street from 7:00 to 8:00 pm
- Houston Hills: Block party in the 10700 block of Kempsford Drive from 6:00 to 8:00 pm
- Newell Crossing: Parade through the community from 3115 Old Ironside Drive from 6:00 to 7:00 pm
- Rosecroft I: Hot dog cookout at 6205 Rosecroft Drive from 6:30 to 8:30 pm
- Grove Park: Social gathering at the Shady Lane cul-de-sac from 7:00 to 8:00 pm
- Meadow Oaks Apts.: Cookout in the community area from 6:00 to 8:00 pm
