National Night Out will be observed on Tuesday, August 2. National Night Out is an annual event in which neighborhoods reinforce their commitment to working together to make their communities safe. Many neighborhoods hold a special event such as a cookout or an ice cream social and invite police officers assigned to their area to join them.

Attached is a list of the National Night Out events of which we are aware. A number of other neighborhoods have registered with the National Night Out Association, but have not provided CMPD with details on their events. If information is received on additional events, it will be included in the Friday memo.
