Charlotte City Manager Pam Syfert announced today she plans to retire June 30, 2007 after more than 10 years as City Manager and 34 years of public service. Syfert informed the Mayor and City Council Monday night, December 11, 2006. In retirement, she plans to pursue some of the activities she most enjoys—traveling, spending time outdoors and spending time with her grandchildren.
