Contact the Review Coordinator at Mecklenburg County Building Standards for new construction that requires review/approval from other agencies (Planning, UMUD, MUDD, Transportation, Environmental Health, City Engineering, etc.)  The submittal of plans and the review at the county can begin  without the other agencies listed above approving the plans, but, approval from these agencies will need to be obtained prior to building permit issuance.  More information regarding the County's permitting process is available at: http://www.charmeck.org/Departments/LUESA/CodeEnforcement/Home.htm
