An Transportation Bond Project
This project will make improvements to Robinson Church Road to benefit motorists, bicyclists and pedestrians. Potential features may include:
- new sidewalks with planting strips
- curb and gutter,
- bike lanes
- turning lanes
- median islands
Robinson Church Road is under study to identify current deficiencies and determine future development standards. Land uses and transportation data are being carefully reviewed and analyzed.
Based on the conclusions of the study, the project team will define construction features and limits. Construction will be focused on the portion of Robinson Church Road within city limits.

Robinson Church Road Farm-To-Market
This project will make improvements to Robinson Church Road to better serve motorists, bicyclists and pedestrians.
What's happened? City staff is working with engineering consultants US Infrastructure to determine future roadway standards and to determine features and limits for construction. A public meeting was held on May 22, and input from the meeting is being considered in this process. Click here to view the minutes from this meeting.
What's next? The project team will determine what improvements are necessary and/or desirable and will develop alternative concepts based on those needs. A second public meeting will be held in August or September, 2008. A preferred alternative should be identified by early 2009 at which time full design work will begin.

Please note that the project cost will include all costs associated with the project such as planning and design, acquiring the right of way, utility relocation, consultant fees, construction, signalization, permits and landscaping.
