Brookshire/Hovis/Oakdale
This 2006 Transportation Bond Project will improve the popular intersection of Brookshire Boulevard, Hovis Road and Oakdale Road.

What's happened?
City staff is working with PBS&J consultants to plan and design the improvements.  Two public meetings were held and five concept plans were presented during the 2nd public meeting. After careful study and  input from citizens, the project team selected Concept 4 as the preferred alignment. Click here to view Concept 4.

What's next? We will begin design immediately on Concept 4.  As the design nears completion, City staff will initiate contact with affected property owners to acquire the necessary right-of-way to begin construction.

Who to contact? Derrel Poole, 704-353-1794.
