Building Charlotte's Transit Future

Engineering & Property Management (E&PM) staff manage the design and construction of infrastructure projects in the South Corridor that will support Charlotte's first forays into transit.
- Improvements to the Vintage Trolley were completed in 2004, allowing the trolley to travel from historic SouthEnd, through the Charlotte Convention Center and finally stopping at 11th Street.
- The South Corridor Infrastructure Program (SCIP) includes 25 projects -- primarily intersection, sidewalk and storm water improvements.
