Sugar Creek Service Center

This is a joint project between the City of Charlotte and the Charlotte Mecklenburg Public Library.

The 21,081 square foot facility, located at 4045 N. Tryon Street (just south of the N. Tryon Street / Sugar Creek Road intersection), will be jointly occupied by:
- David Three District Police Station,
- JobLink Career Center,
- Public Library branch
Cost: Construction cost is estimated at $2,450,000.00.
Objectives:
- Complete construction by March 2003.
- Provide a unique and substantial civic presence
- Produce private investment interest in surrounding area
- Improve interaction with the community
- Promote problem solving with area residents and businesses
