Thomasboro-Hoskins, Phases 1, 2, 3 and 4

A 2000 Neighborhood Bond Project

The Thomasboro Hoskins project was divided into 4 phases and bid as four separate construction projects.  Morgan Street, Phase 1, was completed in February 2003.  Hoskins, Phase 2, was completed in March 2006.  Funds to build Glenwood, Phase 3 and Bradford, Phase 4 were included in the 2006 Transportation Bond Referendum approved by votes in November 2006. Glenwood, Phase 3, construction is expected to begin by 2010.


Objectives:

  • To construct infrastructure improvements including curb & gutter, planting strips, sidewalks, storm drainage, retaining walls, asphalt paving, sewer line upgrades, water line upgrades and landscaping
  • To design and install these NIP improvements in conjunction with the Blenhein CIP and the Westridge storm drainage project.

This neighborhood project is funded through the 2000 and 2006 bond programs. Improvements will include curb & gutter, planting strips, sidewalks, storm drainage and sewer & water line upgrades, retaining walls, and landscaping.

Glenwood, Phase 3 - Real Estate Acquisition Phase is currently underway.

What's next?

Glenwood, Phase 3 - Telics has been selected to conduct the Real Estate Acquisition process. A representative with Telics may be contacting you in the next few months.

Bradford, Phase 4 - A Public Meeting to kick-off the Design Phase be held in the next  few months. You will be notified by mail prior to the meeting.

Cost:  $9,300,000
Please note that this figure includes all costs associated with the project such as planning and design, acquiring the right of way, utility relocation, consultant fees, construction, signalization, permits and landscaping.
