Public Service:
Andy Dulin, a Republican, represents District 6 on Charlotte City Council. he was first elected in 2005 and is now serving his second term on Council. He serves as chair of the Budget Committee and is a member of the Community Safety, Environment, and Governmental Affairs Committees.
Previously, Dulin served on the Charlotte Mecklenburg Board of Adjustments.
He received his bachelor's degree in Travel and Tourism from Appalachian State University and is a Fellow with the North Carolina Institute of Political Leadership.

Dulin has served on the board of managers of the Harris YMCA and was a member of the Y-Guides board. He is a founding member of Second String Santas, a member of the Goodfellas Club, and a coach for Little League baseball and soccer.
Dulin is a residential real estate broker with Cottingham-Chalk & Associates. He is now seeking a seat in the state Senate representing Mecklenburg County's District 39. He and is wife, Cathy, have three sons.
