 Land Use:

 Residential - 113 units
 Office – 15,000 sq ft
 Retail – 8,000 sq ft
 Year: 2005
Overview: Incorporating almost an entire block, this development successfully integrates a new urban character with historic charm. The residential building conceals a parking deck, while a portion of the retail is housed in a renovated historic building. One side of the development is designed to be sensitive to single family houses directly across the street, while the other side addresses the heavily traveled South Boulevard.
Courtside
 Land Use:
Residential - 107 units
 Year: under construction
Overview: While Courtside is not directly on a transit line, it does show how high density TOD can be achieved on a small site. At 16 stories and the first high rise residential building in Uptown Charlotte, Courtside is an example of the type of TOD that one might expect to find in the more urban areas of a transit corridor.
