All single-family residents and duplexes in Charlotte have been issued red "Curb It" containers for recycling. Items should be collected in the container and placed at the curb on the specified curbside collection day. Apartment and condominium complexes may use individual "Curb It" containers or a centralized collection bin. There are also numerous drop centers located throughout the city.
