Victim Resources
The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department seeks to build partnerships with the community to improve community safety for all, and provides information and education to help individuals reduce their chances of becoming a victim. No one, however, is completely immune from violence or crime. Violent crime often traumatizes its victims and survivors and, in some cases, the community at large. The results can cause emotional, physical, and sometimes financial damage to victims.

The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department is providing this information for anyone who has been affected by crime to help you understand your rights as a victim and enable you to access the resources available to you.

Victim Feedback Survey
The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department (CMPD) is committed to serving the citizens of this community and we are constantly evaluating and improving what we do. Getting input from the people we serve plays a key role in this work. Because you have had recent contact with an employee of the CMPD, we would appreciate it if you would take a few moments to give us your feedback.

Thank you!
