About Us

The Westover Division occupies 16.5 square miles of west Charlotte. There are 89 police officers, 8 sergeants, 1 InvestigativeTechnician and a Captain assigned to the division. Our Investigative Technican works Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm and assists with walk in customers.

This division includes several older and historic areas, as well as commercial and industrial sites. The Westover Division office is currently located at 1540 West Blvd at the intersection of West Boulevard and Remount Road in the Westover Shopping Center.

The Westover Division office is not staffed 24 hours a day. 

• Our Office Hours are Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm.
• If you want police to respond to your location, dial 911. 
• If you want to make a report by telephone, dial 311. 
• If you would like to speak to an officer about a particular problem please call our office. If no one is available, please leave a message on our voice mail. Someone will return your call as soon as possible.
