Bike Patrol
Officers conduct bike patrol in North Tryon Division on a part-time basis. Bike patrols help facilitate crime suppression and apprehension of suspects in crime hot spots and drug market areas. Overall, 19 officers are trained and equipped to operate police bikes on each of the three shifts. There is no set schedule for bike patrol. Dates and times vary based upon the problem. District Investigator
The North Tryon Division investigators conducts follow-up investigations on cases where solvability factors are present. The investigators also works closely with detectives from the Criminal and Special Investigations Bureaus.
