About Us
The North Tryon Division comprises nearly 13.4 square miles of historic and older communities, including a strong commercial and industrial presence in north Charlotte. There are 83 Officers, 8 Sergeants, 1 Investigative Technician and a Captain assigned to the division. The office is now located at 4045 N. Tryon Street Suite B (same building as the Sugar Creek Library), near the intersection with Sugar Creek Road.
The division is divided into three response areas and operates three standard work shifts with one overlapping day shift. The majority of officers are assigned to these shifts, although the district also has Community Coordinators.
