The North Division is divided into three (3) geographic areas of response. The concept was designed to reduce the area over which any specific officer is responsible. This enables an officer to become more familiar with the people in their area, patterns of crime and suspect behaviors, and community resources that may be leveraged to reduce crime and quality of life problems.

 

A team of officers is assigned to each response area on different shifts throughout the day and a Sergeant supervises their problem solving activities.

 

North Division is also responsible for patrolling two area lakes, Norman and Mountain Island. These lakes are assigned response areas 4 and 5.

 

First Shift:                 6:15 am - 2:30 pm
Second Shift:           2:15 pm - 10:30 pm
Third Shift:               10:15 pm - 6:30 am
Fourth Shift :            5:45 pm - 2:00 am
Fifth Shift:                 9:45 am - 6:00pm
