About Us

The Hickory Grove Division is nearly 37.3 square miles of established and new communities, including a strong commercial and industrial presence in northeast Charlotte. The estimated population is 51,299.

There are 76 Officers, 3 Response Area Commanders, 7 Sergeants, 1 Investigative Technician and a Captain assigned to the division. The office is currently located at 5727-A North Sharon Amity Road. 

The division is divided into three geographically distinct response areas.  Each has a Response Area Team that is responsible for reducing crime at the neighborhood level.  A Response Area Commander leads each team and serves as the area's primary police representative. The division also has a Focused Mission Team which the division commander is able to deploy strategically to be a proactive force in crime hot spots and to address emerging problems.
