This Neighborhood was developed in the 1920's and is Northeast of uptown Charlotte. This neighborhood surrounds Charlotte's oldest Country Club which used to be called the Mecklenburg Country Club.
The Belmont, Villa Heights, and Optimist Park Neighborhood was developed around the turn of the century and the residents were blue collar workers that worked in the area surrounding the neighborhood.
The NoDa district is located about two miles from uptown Charlotte at North Davidson and 36th Streets. The area used to be a self contained textile community but now it is emerging as an artist community. It was developed in the early 1900's.
This neighborhood encompasses the area between Plaza, Central, Morningside and Commonwealth Ave. The area was developed in the 1940's and is very close to uptown.
Windsor Park is nestled between Central Ave and Eastway Drive. The association consists of several smaller neighborhoods surrounding and including Windsor Park.
This neighborhood was developed in the early 1950's and is located just off of Central Avenue. The neighborhood used to be called Country Club Hills because it was so close to the Charlotte Country Club.
