Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department Homicide Detectives have released the names of three men investigated for a series of robberies and later charged in the October 8th officer involved shooting on Florence Avenue.
Anthony Jamel Crawford, Russell Nathaniel Gibson and Grayland Lavar Welch have all been charged in the incident. Mr. Gibson and Mr. Welch are currently in the custody of the Mecklenburg County Sheriff Department. Mr. Crawford remains hospitalized.
No additional information will be released at this time.
