Seventeen-year-old William Gosier (6-12-1990) has been sentenced to 60-81 months in the Department of Correction for armed robbery.
On January 22, 2007 the victim, Ramon De Los Santos, was working inside a home he was renovating at 4952 Rockwood Road. Two young black males came inside and pointed handguns at him. They robbed him of his wallet and cash and fled in the neighborhood.
Through the course of the investigation, a third suspect also was identified. Gosier, then 16, and two juveniles, were located and arrested. Gosier was charged with armed robbery and conspiracy to commit armed robbery. On April 29, 2008, after only one hour of deliberation, a jury found William Gosier guilty on all counts. He had no prior record of convictions.
