Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police are investigating the death of Michael Lewis Campbell (DOB 11/01/1985).  At approximately 9:05am on July 6, 2008 a park patron notified an off duty officer that they had found a black male who appeared to be deceased in the park. 

Officers and Medic responded to Ramblewood Park where the victim was located and pronounced deceased.  Mr. Campbell had most recently been staying on Windsong Drive in the Windsong Trail neighborhood.  Windsong Trail borders Ramblewood Park.  He was last seen by relatives on Thursday (07/03/2008) afternoon.  He was wearing a yellow and brown plaid shorts, a brown t-shirt, and black tennis shoes.
