Activities In Honor Of Peace Officer Memorial Week Begin May 12

Mecklenburg County Peace Officers Memorial Service
Monday, May 12 at noon
Remembrance Ceremony at the Police Memorial at CMPD Headquarters followed by the procession to First Baptist Church, 301 S. Davidson St.
Police Chief Darrel Stephens will deliver the Welcome and Mecklenburg County Sheriff Daniel "Chipp" Bailey will give the Memorial Remarks. This is the one year anniversary of deaths of CMPD Officers Sean Clark and Jeff Shelton and the 10th anniversary of the death of Mecklenburg County Sheriff's Office Captain Anthony Stancil.
