CMPD to Graduate 36 New Officers on Friday

On Friday, October 24, CMPD will graduate 36 police officers, and they will be assigned to the 13 patrol divisions to assist in CMPD's number one priority of reducing crime.

The 155th Recruit Class has completed 23 weeks of training and will spend the next 14 weeks with a Policing Training Officer in their assigned patrol district before they embark on their first patrol on their own. Every district within CMPD will be receiving officers which will serve to enhance police officer presence and visibility at the neighborhood level.

We would like to send a special invitation to the community as well as City Council and the media to attend the 155th's graduation ceremony on Friday, October 24, at 4 pm at the Police & Fire Training Academy, 1770 Shopton Rd.
