The Homicide Unit consists of 1 Captain, 3 Sergeants and 22 Detectives.  There are 3 different squads and they work from 7:30 am to 12:30 am, Monday through Friday.  The Detectives investigate homicides and suspicious deaths, as well as certain Police Officer involved incidents, attempted murders and some cases of assault and missing persons.
