About Us:

The Burglary Investigations Unit consists of 27 detectives who investigate 10,697 burglaries (residential and commercial) on average each year.  Burglary detectives also investigate most Larceny of Firearm and Felony Larceny cases.  

The Burglary Investigations Unit operates in a decentralized capacity which allows detectives to work in their respective police divisions.  Burglary Investigations is currently divided into three sub-units: Burglary North, Burglary East and Burglary Southwest  with one Sergeant assigned to each sub-unit.
