CRIME STORY:
On the 15th of March, 1993, Darnel Barber, Michael White and three co-defendants drove over to a subject's residence to rob him of his money and guns.  Barber and White walked to the residence to talk to the subject while the co-defendants waited in a stolen jeep. 

When the victim exited the residence, the co-defendants left the stolen jeep and confronted him about something that happened in the past.  One of the co-defendants struck the victim in the fact.  The victim began yelling for help. 

Barber and White ran from the residence back to the jeep.  White order Barber to "burn that mother!"  Barber fired three shots at the victim.  They then drove from the area.  The victim was pronounced dead by emergency room staff. 

Darnell Barber pled guilty to second-degree murder.  He was sentenced to serve 40 years in prison. 

Michael While pled guilty to second degree murder.  He was sentenced to serve 35 years in prison.
