Crime Story
On October 18, 1986 the victim met Terry White at the L & P Lounge on Remount Road. The victim was nine months pregnant and there to socialize with friends. White and the victim left the lounge together and traveled to Southside Park which was near the lounge. Once at the park White, who was intoxicated, stabbed the victim multiple times in the chest and arms killing her and her unborn son. Two passersby found the victim under a picnic shelter and alerted the police. While would later tell the police that he victim had tried to rob him with the knife he possessed and he stabbed her instead. White pled guilty to Second Degree Murder and was sentenced to life in prison.
