Crime Story
On the 22nd of September 1991, the victim and a friend had just finished eating at the Spaghetti Factory and were driving home in the victim's red mustang when they heard a gunshot. The victim immediately turned onto 15th street into a dead-end. Moments earlier, Danny White had been driving down the street when a red vehicle pulled beside him and two suspects fired into his vehicle. White escaped injury by ducking down in the vehicle. He immediate turned his vehicle around to go after the suspects in the red vehicle, when he saw a red mustang turn onto 15th street. 

White exited his vehicle with a .30 caliber M-1 carbin. He fired six shots into the red mustang, then left the area in his vehicle. The victim was pronounced dead on the scene by medics. He died as a result of a gunshot wound to the back of the head. His friend suffered no physical injuries as a result of the shooting. 

Danny White plead guilty to second-degree murder and assault with a deadly weapon with the intent to kill. He was sentenced to serve life in prison. White stated that he went after the two suspects in the red vehicle, because he knew that they wanted to kill him. He also stated that he never meant for an innocent person to get killed in the process.
