CRIME STORY:
On the 2nd of April, 1993, Joey Wheeler and the victim got into an argument about his drinking. The argument escalated and Wheeler threatened to kill everyone in the trailer. Wheeler's father and mother left the trailer with his son to call the police.
Wheeler grabbed a knife from the kitchen and chased the victim out of the trailer into a neighbor's yard. Wheeler stabbed the victim 16 times in the neck and head. The victim died as a result of her stab wounds.
Joey Wheeler was convicted of second-degree murder. He was sentenced to life in prison.
