Crime Story:

Tarlton knew that her grandfather always carried a large amount of money with him. Tarlton stayed in the motel room they had rented, while her boyfriend and another subject went over to her grandfather's residence to kill him with the intent to rob him.

On the 15th of September 1993, Angela Tarlton's boyfriend and another subject went to her grandfathr's residence during the early morning hours. They knocked on the door to the residence. When her grandfather came to the door, they shot him in the head with a sawed of 12-gage shotgun. He was dirscovered the next morning lying on the front porch dead. They were unable to get any money from him. At the time of his death, Richard Miller had five thousand dollars in his wallet.
